Merlin Reverse Osmosis System - a big innovation in RO technology

The new Merlin RO system features continuous flow water production, which means no water storage tanks are needed as the unit works on line pressure. The Merlin patented membrane reduces impurities in up to 720 gallons (2,725 litres*) of water per day.

At the price of a residential system this high capacity performance creates all sorts of commercial possibilities.

Like no other system:

Flexeon 300 RO System

The FLEXEON™ 300 is a compact RO system that consistently produces high-purity water. Average rejection rates of 98.5% make this RO system ideal for applications requiring low volumes of high-purity water, such as laboratory test water or pre-DI.

The high performance and high recovery rate of the FLEXEON™ 1000 system is the entry level for more commercial applications, capable of dealing with feed water up to 2000 TDS.

FLEXEON 10000 and 20000 RO Systems

Available only in its Premier configuration, the 10000 and 20000 systems have again been optimally designed, developed and programmed.

Offered with an array of control features both these systems are fully adaptable to deal with fluctuating seasonal and water quality variations. Equipped with a concentrate recirculating valve, both systems will reduce water wastage by recycling a variable proportion of the circulate to deliver greater efficiencies and cost savings. Ideal for applications such as cosmetic, pharmaceutical drug manufacture, large scale DI plants, boiler water feed, steam sterilising or any application that requires high volumes of extremely pure water.

Sand/ gravel and other sediment media (sold by the bag)

Sediment filters are needed when the water supply is cloudy or turbid. The particles in the water will block plumbing systems, leave unsightly staining, may contain toxic chemicals or bacteria. The easiest way to remove the particles is by passing the water through a medium where the particles get stuck and allowing clear water to flow through. The particles can be periodically ‘backwashed’ away to drain. Sand is the cheapest media. The grade of sand is tightly controlled so only highest quality, triple washed 0.4 to 0.8mm size water treatment grade sand is used. The water passes through the sand and any particulates get trapped by the sand. Filter Ag and Filter Ag plus have a more irregular surface than sand providing a higher surface area and complex flow path for a more efficient removal of suspended matter. This can lead to savings over traditional filter materials but is slightly more expensive than sand and must be soaked for 24 hours before use.
